Privacy Policy

Your privacy is not just a policy; it's our product philosophy.

Last updated: 3/22/2026

1. Introduction

At ZairLabs, we believe that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information across our ecosystem of products, including SafarDesk, Focus or Fail, Zair Finance, ZairLingo, Jamia Sync, Blog Vibes, Qaza Keeper, and ReadOut.

2. Our "Local-First" Philosophy

Many of our products are designed to be Local-First. This means your data is stored on your device, not on our servers.

Zero-Knowledge Apps

For Focus or Fail, Qaza Keeper, Notes Of Me, and ReadOut: We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal entries, habits, prayers, or journal logs. Everything stays on your phone or computer. If you delete the app, your data is gone unless you have made a backup.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you sign up for our SaaS products (SafarDesk, Jamia Sync), we collect your name, email, organization details, and billing information.
  • Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the content of your messages.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We use privacy-friendly analytics (like Google Analytics 4) on our website to understand traffic patterns.
  • Crash Logs: Our mobile apps may collect anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs. This data does not contain your personal content.
  • Device Info: Device model, OS version, and language preferences to optimize your experience.

3.3 Product-Specific Data Handling

  • SafarDesk & Jamia Sync: As cloud-based platforms, we store the business/organizational data you input (e.g., pilgrim details, student records) on secure, encrypted servers. We process this data solely to provide the service to you.
  • ZairLingo: Text you select for translation is sent to translation API providers (e.g., Google/DeepL) solely for processing. We do not store this text.
  • Zair Finance: Your financial records are encrypted. If you use the cloud sync feature, encrypted blobs are stored on our servers; we cannot read your individual transactions.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party companies for payment processing (e.g., Stripe), hosting (e.g., Vercel, AWS), and email delivery. These providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. For our cloud services, we use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("Right to be Forgotten").
  • Object to processing of your data.
  • Request portability of your data.

To exercise these rights, please contact [email protected].

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Apps like Qaza Keeper are safe for children to use as they do not collect or transmit any data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
